Grammy-nominated music producer Metro Boomin has been found not liable in a sexual assault case brought by a Los Angeles woman, according to court papers obtained Friday.

A downtown Los Angeles jury reached a verdict of not guilty Thursday on all four claims of rape and sexual battery alleged by Vanessa LeMaistre in federal court.

The producer, whose real name is Leland T. Wayne, was initially sued by LeMaistre in October 2024. The woman claimed they were introduced on a 2016 trip to Las Vegas, and after taking a shot of alcohol and half a Xanax bar, awoke to find Wayne sexually assaulting her as she drifted in and out of consciousness.

Opening arguments in the trial began Tuesday in downtown Los Angeles.

In a statement following the verdict, 32-year-old Metro called the case a “shakedown” based on fabricated allegations.

“This has been a very difficult time for me and my family,” he said. “From the beginning I have said these allegations were false and that I would not be a part of a shakedown. She attacked who I am as a person and how I was raised, and I could not let her get away with that. I would never do what she accused me of to anyone. I am deeply thankful to my legal team, my loved ones, the jury, and everyone who stood by me. I’m relieved that the truth came out in court.”

LeMaistre’s attorneys vowed to appeal.

Metro has produced hits for a variety of artists, including Drake, Kanye West, the Weeknd, Young Thug and Post Malone.
