A man was killed in a two-vehicle collision Thursday in Lancaster.
The crash occurred at 6:53 a.m. Thursday in the area of 170th Street East and Avenue P, according to the California Highway Patrol.
After the initial impact, one of the vehicles careened into a light pole.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene. He was later identified as 21-year-old Emmanuel Juarez, according to the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner. Juarez’s city of residence was not available.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
