First responders rescued a 39-year-old hiker who was experiencing a medical issue Sunday in the Hollywood Hills West area, authorities said.
Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 10:49 a.m. Sunday to Runyon Canyon Road, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The hiker was airlifted from that location to a safe helispot, where she was assessed for a ground transport to a hospital, according to Lyndsey Lantz of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
No further information was immediately available.
