Investigators Wednesday released composite sketches of suspects who are believed to have been involved in the shooting death of a man in the Nadeau section of the unincorporated Florence-Graham area near South Los Angeles.

Gabriel Ramirez was shot and killed during a confrontation with male suspects around 4:50 p.m. on Feb. 2 in the 1700 block of Firestone Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The 33-year-old victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at a hospital, according to the Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office.

Suspect sketches produced by the sheriff’s department’s forensic artist based on information provided by homicide detectives were released Wednesday as investigators sought the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects.

Both suspects were described as men in their late 20s, 5-feet-9 inches to 6-feet tall, with medium builds.
