Police Tuesday are searching for three suspects believed to be involved in a fatal hit in run collision in East Los Angeles where a pedestrian was struck and killed.
California Highway Patrol officers were called to East Olympic Boulevard and South Arizona Avenue at 11:02 p.m. Monday where they found a man lying on the ground with multiple vehicles nearby, CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig told City News Service.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel.
Fox 11 reported three people in one vehicle stopped to examine the victim and then drove away. The CHP reported the victim might have been struck by multiple vehicles.
