A person was injured Sunday morning during a single-vehicle crash on the Pomona (60) Freeway in Jurupa Valley, authorities said.
The crash occurred at 5:25 a.m on the westbound freeway, west of Country Village Road, according to the California Highway Patrol. That person’s condition was not known.
The crash involved a white Jeep Grand Wagoneer, that possibly overturned, coming to a rest in a drainage tunnel under the freeway, the CHP said.
A person who was trapped inside the vehicle was transported to Riverside Community Hospital in unknown condition. .
There was no other immediate information available.
