A 44 year-old man who was fatally wounded in a stabbing near Union Station in downtown Los Angeles was identified Tuesday by county authorities.
The Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s office determined the victim was Kevin Guerra,
Firefighters were called at about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday to the 800 block of Alameda Street, the location of Union Station, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
According to reports from the scene, the victim, Guerra, was stabbed across the way on Alameda Street and collapsed in front of the station after crossing the road.
He did not survive, the Los Angeles Police Department later confirmed, and a homicide investigation was launched.
No suspect information was immediately available.
