Three adults were displaced Friday after a fire engulfed multiple palm trees and a single-story residence in Coachella.
The non-injury blaze was reported shortly after 2 p.m Friday in the 86000 block of Vista del Sur, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The agency requested a second alarm to handle the fire and additional resources were sent to the scene.
The fire was contained at 2:56 p.m., and crews were expected to remain at the scene for an additional two hours.
The Red Cross were requested to assist the displaced individuals.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
