The city of Glendale Thursday launched a new tourism campaign designed to showcase the city’s dining, shopping, arts and entertainment offerings while attracting more regional, national and international visitors.
The campaign, titled “Find Your Vibe,” includes a promotional video highlighting attractions throughout the city and is part of an ongoing effort to raise Glendale’s profile as Southern California prepares to host major international sporting events in the coming years.
“Whether planning a weekend getaway, attending an event, exploring Southern California, or seeking a new experience, Glendale invites you to discover everything the city has to offer,” city officials said in a statement announcing the campaign.
Officials cited Glendale’s location near Hollywood Burbank Airport and within easy reach of LAX as a key advantage for visitors looking to access destinations throughout Southern California while staying in the city.
Created to elevate Glendale’s visibility on the regional, national and international stage, the campaign will feature regularly updated content highlighting local attractions, restaurants, hotels, shopping destinations and events, officials said.
According to the city, the effort is intended to showcase Glendale as a destination in its own right, offering “world-class dining, arts, entertainment, and premier shopping experiences.”
Known as the “Jewel City,” Glendale has a population of nearly 200,000 and is home to a major business district, arts and entertainment venues, shopping centers and dozens of public parks and recreational facilities, officials said.
