One person was killed and another person was injured Saturday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Llano, authorities said.
The crash occurred at 4:45 a.m. Saturday on Pearblossom (138) Highway, just east of 165th Street East, according to the California Highway Patrol.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, and paramedics rushed another person to a hospital, the CHP said. That person’s condition was not immediately known.
The crash involved a white Nissan Sentra and another vehicle, the CHP said.
Both eastbound lanes of the highway were shut down at 5:16 a.m. for an unknown duration while the investigation continued.
