One person was rushed to a hospital with critical injuries Friday evening after multiple vehicles caught fire in the parking structure of a Wilmington apartment building, and initial reports suggest fireworks were at the scene, authorities said.
The fire was reported at about 8:30 p.m. Friday at 1104 W. Pacific Coast Highway, just east of the Harbor (110) Freeway, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
LAFD arson units were investigating the cause of the fire. No further information was immediately available.
