Police investigated a shooting in the South Wrigley community of Long Beach, where officers located evidence of a shooting but no injuries were reported, authorities said Saturday.
Officers were dispatched at about 10:50 p.m. Friday to the 2300 block of Cedar Avenue regarding a shooting, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
“Upon arrival, officers located evidence, indicating a shooting had occurred. Suspect information and the motive for the shooting is under investigation,” according to a police statement.
