A 27-year-old man was shot and killed after attending a Halloween party Sunday in Lancaster.
Deputies speaking to a witness and the victim’s relative said he had been been attending a Halloween party in the 45000 Trevor Avenue, according to Deputy Caroline Rodriguez of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
“The witness said that while she drove to the hospital with the victim, she crashed her car into the curb, disabling it,” Rodriguez said.
With details still sketchy, deputies dispatched a little before 2:10 a.m. to the 45300 block of Andale Avenue on a “gunshot victim” call found the victim, who had been shot, lying in the street next to his car, she said.
Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. It was unknown if the shooting was gang related.
