
Police are on the hunt for a pair of dog-snatchers who made off with a puppy from a Panorama City home.
The dog-napping occurred about 4 p.m. Saturday. The residents told officers that a man and woman kicked in the front door of their home in the 9000 block of Tobias Avenue and took off with their 3-month-old husky puppy named Lucy, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The man was described as Hispanic, about 24 years old and 5 feet 7 inches tall. The woman, also Hispanic, was described as about 18 years old, 5 feet tall, with black hair and brown eyes.
Police circulated a photo of the dog and asked anyone with information on the case to call LAPD Mission Station detectives at (818) 838-9864 or (818) 838-9810; or Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS.
