A man in his 30s was seriously wounded in a drive-by shooting as he walked down the street in South Los Angeles, authorities said Monday.
The shooting was near the intersection of 88th and Figueroa streets about 4:30 p.m., Los Angeles police Lt. Jamie Bennett of the Southeast Division said.
The wounded man was taken to a hospital, where his vital signs were stable, Bennett said.
The vehicle was described as a dark sedan, Bennett said.
It’s unknown at this point if the shooting was gang-related, he said.
