Three people were found dead inside a home in Redondo Beach and detectives tried to determine Thursday why they were killed.
Officers responded around 10:15 p.m. Wednesday to a report of shots fired inside a residence in the 700 block of Esplanade, where they discovered three people dead, according to Captain Jon Naylor of the Redondo Beach Police Department.
The investigation is in its preliminary stage, but there is no threat to the community and investigators believe that all the involved parties are accounted for and no suspects are outstanding, he said.
The genders or identities of the victims were not immediately released.
