An 88-year-old woman who suffers from dementia was missing Friday in La Mirada.
Ofelia Otero was last seen at 6 a.m. Thursday when she left her home in the 14900 block of Pemberton Drive and boarded a bus that was to take her to a store in La Mirada, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Otero is Hispanic, 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 115 pounds with brown and gray short hair and hazel eyes, the sheriff’s department said.
Anyone with information on Otero’s whereabouts was asked to call the sheriff’s Missing Persons Bureau at (323) 890-5500 or Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.
