Police Monday identified the 13-year-old who died in an e-motorcycle crash last week, while investigators sought the public’s help to determine what caused the crash.
The boy who died in Thursday night’s crash was identified as Benson Nguyen of Santa Ana.
The teen was riding the vehicle about 9:50 p.m. on Magnolia Street near Larson Avenue when he crashed, according to Garden Grove police Sgt. Nick Jensen. He was in the left lane of Magnolia going about 35 mph when he veered into the center median and lost control of the electric motorcycle, Jensen said.
