A motorist was critically injured Saturday when he crashed his vehicle into a power pole in the Saugus area of Santa Clarita, authorities said.
The crashed occurred around 12:30 p.m. in the area of Bouquet Canyon and Texas Canyon roads, the California Highway Patrol reported. The vehicle was described as a silver Honda Civic.
Paramedics were dispatched to the scene and rushed one person to a hospital, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher.
