One person was fatally injured Saturday morning in a multi-vehicle crash on the San Diego (5) Freeway in San Clemente, authorities said.
The crash occurred at about 5:10 a.m. on the southbound freeway at Avenida De Estrella, the California Highway Patrol reported.
It was not immediately known if the person died at the scene or at a hospital.
No further information was immediately available.
