Two people suffered major injuries during a five-vehicle crash Saturday on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway in Blythe, where two other people sustained minor injuries, authorities said.
The crash occurred at about 5:50 a.m. on the westbound freeway, west of Corn Springs Road, the Riverside County Fire Department reported.
Three people were extricated from vehicles. Air ambulances rushed two people with major injuries to a trauma center. The two who suffered minor injuries were transported by ground ambulance to a hospital.
