One person was killed and two others suffered serious injuries Saturday when a pickup truck crashed into a brick wall in Valle Vista.
The solo-vehicle crash was reported at 2:55 p.m. at the intersection of Florida Avenue (Highway 74) and Lincoln Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol and Riverside County Fire Department.
One person was airlifted to a hospital by helicopter and two were taken by ground ambulance, fire officials said. Injuries were described as serious. The CHP reported one of those patients died.
Eastbound and westbound sides of Florida Avenue were shut down for the crash investigation, the CHP said.
