A second-alarm fire Saturday destroyed the kitchen area at the University Club of Pasadena, authorities said.
Firefighters were dispatched just after 1 a.m. to Ford Place and Los Robles Avenue, city spokeswoman Lisa Derderian said.
Derderian did not have an approximate time of when the fire was knocked down.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
“The University Club was started in 1922,” she said. “They host many of our non-profit and civic club meetings and have been home to numerous weddings and special events. Beautiful, tucked away historic gem in Pasadena.”
