Firefighters continued battling a brush fire that rapidly spread from five to 150 acres in Gavilan Hills Saturday.
The fire was reported around 3:30 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Gavilan and Idaleona Roads, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The brusher was 0% contained as of 5:45 p.m., the Riverside County Fire Department reported.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
The Gavilan fire became the fourth fire that Riverside County firefighters were battling over the weekend.
