Firefighters extricated a motorist trapped in a vehicle after a rollover crash on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway Sunday evening.
The crash was reported about 8:25 p.m. Sunday on the westbound 10 at Cloverfield Boulevard in Santa Monica, according to the Los Angeles Fire Deapartment’s Nicholas Prange.
The person firefighters rescued was described as a 35-year-old man who had been at the wheel of one of the two vehicles involved in the crash, according to Prange. He was taken to a hospital in what was described as moderate condition.
No one else involved in the crash required medical treatment, Prange said.
The cause of the collision was under investigation.
