Firefighters extinguished a fire inside a second-floor unit of an apartment building in Sherman Oaks Sunday evening.
The fire at 14155 Magnolia Blvd. was reported at 7:44 p.m. Sunday, said Los Angeles Fir Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
One man suffered burns in the fire and was transported to a hospital for treatment, Stewart said. It was unclear if the man was a resident.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation, she said.
