Four dogs and a snake were killed in a mobile home fire in Aguanga Sunday, the Riverside County Fire Department announced.
The fire was reported at 10:50 a.m. Sunday in the 46400 block of Stanley Road where firefighters found a single, wide mobile home fully involved with flames.
Firefighters extinguished the fire around 12:10 p.m., and found four dogs and one snake dead. The Riverside County Department of Animal Services was called for assistance.
It was unclear if the residents were home at the time.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known. Fire crews predicted remaining on the scene for an additional hour.
