A pedestrian was killed Sunday evening when she was struck by a pickup truck on an on-ramp to the Harbor (110) Freeway in Wilmington.
The crash was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 10:34 p.m. Sunday on the Anaheim Street on-ramp to the southbound Harbor Freeway.
The pedestrian was described as a woman wearing dark clothing, the CHP reported.
The CHP issued a SigAlert at 10:44 p.m. closing the on-ramp and freeway lanes Nos. 3 and 4.
It was not immediately clear if the motorist stopped.
