Firefighters Monday knocked down a fire at a single-family home in Palm Desert, and no injuries were reported.
The fire was first reported at 1:13 p.m. Monday on the 20 block of Overland Court, according to the Riverside County Fire Department. The fire was contained to the attic and garage.
The residents were displaced.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
