Firefighters from the Riverside County Fire Department battled a residential fire in San Jacinto Saturday.
The fire was reported at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Fifth Street, where responding crews found heavy smoke coming from the vacant, single-family residence.
The fire was contained by 2:45 p.m.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remained under investigation.
