Firefighters contained a fire Saturday at a single-story residence in Rancho Mirage.
The fire was reported at 2:11 a.m. Saturday in the 40000 block of Sand Dune Road, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Crews contained the fire in the attic of the residence at approximately 3:12 a.m., and no injuries were reported.
Firefighters remained at the scene for an additional two hours for “salvage and overhaul,” according to the department.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
