Monetary donations were being sought Saturday by the Pasadena Humane Society, which announced that it had received abundant volunteer support and pet supplies as a result of the Eaton Fire.
The organization at 361 S. Raymond Ave. stated on Saturday evening they were pausing volunteer applications and donations due to a large number of responses, including foster volunteers.
Instead, the shelter requested community members help cover critical expenses in treating burned and injured animals.
Donations to the shelter could be made at give.pasadenahumane.org/fire.
