Firefighters contained a fire at a single-story residential house that displaced three residents Friday in Palm Desert.
The non-injury fire was reported at 4:08 p.m. Friday at Catalina Way and San Anselmo Avenue, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Crews reported smoke showing from the garage of the residence and will remain at the scene for an additional hour for mop-up work, fire officials said.
Southern California Red Cross were requested to assist the three individuals displaced by the fire.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
