Firefighters knocked down a two-alarm fire Wednesday that displaced five adult residents in Rubidoux.

Fire crews from the Riverside Fire Department responded at approximately 1:22 a.m. Wednesday to the 5900 block of Mission Boulevard, where they found flames coming from five units of a single-story, commercial mini-storage facility, the fire department reported.

A total of 14 units were damaged before the fire was extinguished and an additional 14 were under review to determine possible fire damage, said the fire department.

No injuries were reported and fire crews will remain at the scene performing overhaul duties for approximately five hours.
