One person was killed Wednesday morning in a collision between a vehicle and a downtown Los Angeles-bound Metrolink train at a crossing in Glendale.
The crash was reported around 9 a.m. Wednesday on Brazil Street, just west of the intersection of San Fernando Road and Broadway, according to report from the location.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, their body visible outside the mangled silver vehicle.
The train, reported to be number 206 on the Antelope Valley Line, was stopped on the tracks.
It was not immediately clear if anyone aboard the train was injured, and the extent of rail service disruption was not immediately available.
