A 27-year-old man pleaded guilty Friday to fatally stabbing his sisters, killing one of them, in Lake Forest and was immediately sentenced to 20 years to life in prison.

Ahmed Majid Williams killed 22-year-old Nadia Williams the afternoon of Aug. 20, 2023, in the 21000 block of Osterman Road.

A witness called dispatchers just after 12:15 p.m. reporting a woman “screaming `Help me, help me,”’ according to deputies.

An Amazon driver also called 911, reporting he saw a suspect who “looked like really disheveled, there’s blood all over him, blood all over her,” according to deputies.

When deputies arrived, they evacuated the neighboring residences, and a family member told the first responders that her daughter was still in the apartment. She gave the deputies a key and when they went into the apartment, they encountered a knife-wielding suspect who refused commands to drop the weapon, prompting the deputies to shoot him.

Williams pleaded guilty to murder and attempted murder. As part of the plea deal, Orange County Superior Court Judge Michael Cassidy struck sentencing enhancements for the personal use of a deadly weapon and inflicting great bodily injury on a victim.

Williams was given credit for 972 days behind bars.
