One person was killed and a second critically injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Sunland early Monday evening.
Firefighters responded at approximately 6:05 p.m. to the 11100 block of Oro Vista Avenue in Sunland, near Big Tujunga Road and Oro Vista Park to conduct a rescue operation following reports of a vehicle that had rolled over following a traffic accident, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A male victim was pronounced dead, while a female victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition, according to Jennifer Middleton of the Los Angeles Fire Department. A third unidentified victim was transported in fair condition, she said.
The Los Angeles Police Department Foothill Division is investigating the cause of the crash.
No additional injuries were reported.
