An eight-inch water main broke Saturday in Studio City, flooding a roadway in a neighborhood of apartment complexes and houses.
The break was reported at 4 p.m. Saturday at 4283 Coldwater Canyon Ave., at Woodbridge Street, Los Angeles Department of Water and Power spokeswoman Janine Hou told City News Service.
Repair crews were on the scene and estimated they would have the break fixed by 6:30 a.m. Sunday, Hou said.
The break affected 40-60 Los Angeles Departent of Water and Power customers, but their water won’t be off the entire time, she said. Water will be shut off “a couple of hours” as needed.
The water main break is near LADWP electrical distribution Station 49, at 4276 Coldwater Canyon Ave.
