Firefighters Sunday were battling a vegetation fire that was burning at least three acres in San Jacinto, according to a report.

The fire was reported around 4:50 p.m. Sunday in the area of Soboba Road and Chabela Drive, where crews reported the fire burning at a moderate rate of spread, according to the nonprofit wildfire-information service Watch Duty.

Multiple ground and air resources were battling the fire.

No injuries were immediately reported and the cause of the fire was still under investigation.
