Los Angeles police asked for the public’s help Wednesday in finding a man who attacked a clerk in a Koreatown video store when she wouldn’t give him free merchandise.
The attack occurred on Sept. 8 about 5:30 p.m., police said.
When the clerk refused to give him the free videos, he became angry, threw her down on the floor and raped her, then left.
The suspect was described as a black man with a dark complexion in his early 20s, standing 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall, and estimated to weigh anywhere between 170 and 210 pounds.
Anyone with information about the crime was asked to call detectives at (213) 473-0417.
