A person was found dead inside a burning car in the West Adams neighborhood, police said Saturday.
The burning vehicle was noticed by officers on patrol near the intersection of West Jefferson and West boulevards at 11:05 p.m. Friday, Los Angeles Police Department Sgt. Brent McGuire said.
The unidentified body was discovered after the fire was extinguished, McGuire said.
Homicide and arson detectives are investigating, McGuire said.
