Four people including three Los Angeles County sheriff‘s deputies were injured at a suspected  drug lab just south of Lake Palmdale on Saturday night, apparently as a result of inhaling fumes.

Los Angeles County Fire Department Supervisor Bernard Peters said the victims were taken to a hospital for treatment of “non-life-threatening” injuries.

The deputies were part of a team serving a search warrant at a home on the 36000 block of Sierra Highway where a suspected drug lab was being operated.

The injuries were probably caused by fumes in the house, Peters said.

Firefighters were called to the scene around 9:30 p.m. The civilian who was injured was not identified.
