A man robbed a Seal Beal bank branch Saturday of an undisclosed amount of cash.
According to video surveillance, the suspect entered Chase Bank, 13900 Seal Beach Blvd., at about 9:30 a.m. He presented a note to the teller demanding cash, said Seal Beach Police Sgt. Philip Gonshak.
The suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. Gonshak said the suspect was last seen leaving the area on foot in an unknown direction.
The suspect was described as a 5-foot, 8-inch tall black man, between 40 to 50 years old, weighing 140 pounds, partially balding with a graying beard and moustache. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black beanie and blue jeans.
The Seal Beach and FBI conducted a joint investigation.
Seal Beach police detectives asked anyone with any information regarding the bank robbery to call them at (562) 799-4100, ext. 1108 or 1112.
