A truck crashed into a house in Bellflower early Tuesday, leaving the driver with minor injuries, authorities said.

The driver was suffering from low blood sugar and had no memory of walking away from the scene in the 9600 block of Rosecrans Avenue, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lt. Eric Lindblom. No charges were expected.

The impact of the crash on the corner of the residence around 11:30 p.m. Monday caused major damage to the fully-laden pickup but only minor damage to the house, Lindblom said.

Deputies found the driver several blocks away, a news videographer reported from the scene. Lindblom said the driver was hospitalized for treatment of minor injuries.
