Police on Friday circulated surveillance video of a suspect who ransacked and robbed a West Covina medical facility after pointing a gun at an employee.
The robbery occurred about 7:40 p.m. Thursday in the 1400 block of Garvey Avenue, said West Covina police Public Information Officer Eddie Flores.
A man between 21 and 25 years old entered the facility and brandished a handgun, Flores said.

“When the suspect pointed the handgun at the victim, the victim fled the immediate area and locked herself in a room with another employee,” he said. “The suspect is seen ransacking the lobby and leaving the business with the victim’s personal items and $400 in cash.”
Flores said the man arrived in a compact dark-colored sedan that is believed to have been occupied by a driver and front right passenger.
The gunman is described as around 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall and 140 to 170 pounds. He was wearing a dark hoodie sweater with some kind of white print on the front and a black baseball cap with a white bill.
The handgun was a black semiautomatic, Flores said.
Anyone with information that could help locate the gunman and suspect vehicle was urged to call West Covina police at (626) 939-8500.
