
A police raid on a business in Pomona resulted in the recovery of 630 marijuana plants with an estimated street value of $1 million and the arrest of a 35-year-old man.
Phillip Startsman was arrested on suspicion of marijuana cultivation and possession of prescription drugs for sale, police said.
The raid in the 2700 block of North Towne Avenue was conducted around 1 p.m., Friday, police said.
