Authorities on Monday released the name of a 27-year-old woman who was fatally shot in the parking lot of a bowling alley in Torrance.
Mytatiyana Conner was gunned down outside the Gable House Bowl in the 22500 block of Hawthorne Blvd. at 12:45 a.m. Saturday and died at a hospital.
An officer who was nearby when the gunfire erupted headed to the scene and stopped a vehicle as it left the car park. The three men inside, all in their early to mid-20s, are considered persons of interest in the shooting, said Torrance police Sgt. Paul Kranke.
Two of the three were wanted on outstanding arrest warrants, according to Kranke, who said detectives still had not named any suspects as of late this afternoon and were trying to determined what prompted the shooting.
