A homeowner was injured after two men and a woman forced their way into a house in the Exposition Park area and robbed the man’s family of cash.
The home invasion robbery took place at 10 p.m. Friday, in the 3700 block of Cherrywood Avenue, Los Angeles Police Sgt. Carlton Brown told City News Service.
“Two male blacks in their mid 20s, accompanied by a black female, forced their way into the home and stole cash from the family,” Brown said.
“The husband was hurt during the robbery,” Brown continued. “He suffered cuts and abrasions.”
Brown said the man’s wife and children were home at the time of the robbery but were not injured.
The amount of cash the three suspects stole was not immediately known, Brown added.
They remained at large this morning and he said there was no description of their getaway vehicle.
