Two men were killed and a third man who fled broke his leg in what police described as a gang-related shooting in South Los Angeles.

The shooting occurred at Central Avenue and 52nd Street, said Los Angeles Police Officer Mike Lopez of the LAPD’s Media Relations Section.

The suspects fled Monday in an unknown type and color SUV, he said.

The two deceased victims were shot in the upper body and taken to hospitals where they were declared dead, police said.
