Police Sunday morning fired tear gas into an apartment unit in Pasadena where a possibly armed man had been holed up overnight.
The suspect was taken into custody at 6:30 a.m., according to a statement from the Pasadena Police Department.
“Right now we’re airing out the apartment complex because of tear gas deployed,” said Pasadena police Lt. John Mercado.
A man with a gun had been reported on a balcony at 9:40 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Penn Street and Summit Avenue.
There was no other information immediately available.
